باب العلم

1 — The service

باب العلم is a digital education platform. What you buy is access to one study material — its lessons, units and exams — through the mobile app. The content is entirely digital; nothing is shipped.

2 — Your account

• No name or email is asked for. An account is a number the app generates and a four-digit PIN.
• A primary code is issued once at sign-up and is the only way to restore the account on another device. Keep it. We cannot recover it for you, because we do not store it.
• The account is yours alone; sharing it is your responsibility.

3 — Purchases and prices

• All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP), inclusive of any tax.
• The final price is shown before payment; nothing is added after.
• Access unlocks as soon as payment succeeds.
• Access runs until the end of the current academic year — not twelve months from purchase. The expiry date is shown in the app.
• There are no recurring subscriptions and no automatic charges.

4 — Payment

Payments are handled by a licensed payment service provider. Your card or wallet details never reach our servers; we do not see them and do not store them.

5 — Acceptable use

By using the platform you agree not to:

• copy, republish or resell the content;
• share your account or unlock codes to avoid paying;
• attempt to reach content you have not paid for;
• upload a photograph that is not yours or is indecent.

Breaching this may suspend the account. A suspension for these reasons does not entitle you to a refund.

6 — Content and ownership

All lessons, questions and exams belong to باب العلم or are licensed to it. A purchase grants you personal access only and transfers no ownership.

7 — Availability

We aim to keep the platform running, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. It may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If an outage lasts long enough to stop you using a material you paid for, write to us.

8 — Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced in the app and the date above changes with them. Anything bought before a change keeps the terms it was bought under.

9 — Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
